These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Social, a messaging application operated by Nadeem Akhtar. By creating an account or using Social, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Social. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
You must safeguard your device, SIM, and any app-lock or biometric credentials
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate other users
Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or malicious content
Share illegal, infringing, or harmful material
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
Circumvent security, encryption, or access controls
Use Social for unauthorized commercial solicitation or fraud

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that pose a risk to other users or the platform.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you send through Social. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service. You are solely responsible for the content you share and must have the rights to share it.

5. Messaging, Calls & Groups

Group administrators may have additional controls over membership and settings
Voice and video calls require device permissions you approve
We do not guarantee delivery times, call quality, or uninterrupted availability

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Social reliable and available, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Maintenance, updates, network issues, or events beyond our control may cause interruptions. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Intellectual Property

Social, its branding, logos, software, and design are owned by Nadeem Akhtar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the app.

8. Third-Party Services

Social may integrate third-party services (such as cloud infrastructure, maps, or authentication). Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nadeem Akhtar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Social. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or zero if the service is free).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nadeem Akhtar from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of Social, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Social at any time and may delete your account where the feature is available. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions. Continued use of Social after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
